The Breitling Premier Day & Date 40 ref. A45340 channels the spirit of the original 1943 Premier collection, which favored subtle elegance over the rugged, tool-oriented aesthetic seen elsewhere in the brand’s lineup. Revived in 2018 with a focus on vintage inspiration and modern refinement, this contemporary model features a metallic silver dial with radial brushing and rose gold-plated baton indices and hands. Its printed quarter-hour markers and the case’s deeply engraved flank fluting introduce a light Art Deco influence that enhances the design’s retro charm without feeling dated. Powered by the self-winding Breitling B45 movement, the watch displays the day at 12 o’clock and the date at 6 o’clock for both aesthetic balance and everyday practicality.
