From the catalogue: Created in 1969, the Heuer Monaco chronograph was a milestone both because of its avant-garde design and its technical performances. It was fitted with “Chronomatic”, the world’s first ever automatic chronograph movement. Moreover, the Heuer Monaco was the first watch in the world to feature a water-resistant square case. It achieved fame on the wrist of numerous celebrities, including Steve McQueen in the 1970 film “Le Mans”.
To complete its “Classics Heuer” collection TAG Heuer has decided to re-issue the 1969 Heuer Monaco chronograph in a limited series of 5000, featuring a rejuvenated design fully as original, modern and surprising as at the time of its launch. Heuer Monaco re-edition: history still in the making/history takes a further step.

This watch is in very good overall condition, with the case showing general surface wear from normal use, and no major dents or damage. The original leather strap remains functional but shows wear and cracking near the adjustment holes. The crystal has visible scratches and some small dirt or lume debris underneath.
