Bell & Ross BR V3-94 A521 limited edition for Alpine F1 ref. BRV394-A521/SCA

$3,000.00

The BR V3-94 A521 is a collaboration piece born from Bell & Ross's partnership with the Alpine F1 Team, named after the Alpine A521 race car.

When the Renault F1 Team rebranded as the Alpine F1 Team for the 2021 season, it marked a new chapter in a partnership with Bell & Ross dating back to 2016. To celebrate, Bell & Ross launched three Alpine F1-inspired chronographs — the sixth family of timepieces shared between the two brands — including the reference BRV394-A521/SCA.

The A521 became the first Formula 1 car to bear the Alpine name, painted in the iconic Bleu de France, and competed in that year's World Championship. Named directly for the A521 chassis, the Bell & Ross BR V3-94 A521 features a 43mm stainless steel case with classic pump pushers and a bi-directional bezel fitted with a black aluminium insert engraved with a 60-minute countdown scale. A duotone tachymeter scale circles the dial, enabling wearers to calculate the average speed of a car over a fixed distance.

Inside, the bi-compax dial layout displays two sub-counters designed to echo the rims of an F1 car, with skeletonized centers that reveal the mechanical movement beneath, along with applied italicized Arabic numerals and legible white hands. The chronograph's blue seconds hand carries a stylized "A" counterweight for Alpine, and a tricolor flag at 6 o'clock honors the French heritage shared by both Alpine and Bell & Ross.

Powering the watch is the BR-CAL.301, based on the automatic modular chronograph ETA 2894-2, visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback. The BR V3-94 A521 is presented on a perforated calfskin strap with carbon fiber texture and a vivid blue underside.
