The Breitling Chronomat Automatic AB01114K/BD88 is a rare Japanese-exclusive special edition limited to just 400 pieces, showcasing refined styling within the iconic Chronomat line. Its 44mm stainless steel case and unidirectional ratcheting bezel reflect the model’s professional tool-watch heritage, while the clean black dial with angular baton markers offers a more balanced aesthetic compared to other AB0111 models with Roman numerals. At its core beats the in-house Breitling Caliber B01, a robust automatic chronograph movement first introduced in 2009, which marked a defining milestone in the brand’s modern history. Combining robustness, provenance, and exclusivity, this edition stands out as one of the most collectible modern Chronomat variations.

This watch is in overall excellent condition, with minor signs of normal wear such as surface scratches on the case, bracelet, and clasp. However, there is some noticeable scuffing on the bezel near the 40 marker. There is also some light staining to the anti-reflective material on the crystal near the 2 o’clock index. The movement is running smoothly, with all functions operating as intended. This watch will fit a 7.5” wrist. Additional photos are available on request.
