Bremont Argonaut Azure ref. ARGONAUT-BL-R-S, complete set

$2,000.00

Bremont honors the legacy of the ‘Dirty Dozen’ with the Argonaut, a name steeped in Greek mythology that graced commissioned ships for nearly 250 years.

The Bremont Argonaut Azure draws its inspiration from the ‘Dirty Dozen’ — the legendary set of twelve field watches built by twelve different Swiss manufacturers to a single rigorous standard set by Britain's Ministry of Defence during World War II. These watches had to be durable, accurate, and reliable enough to survive the battlefield, and they remain the definitive blueprint for military timekeeping to this day.

Born from a partnership with the Ministry of Defence and part of the Bremont Armed Forces Collection, the Argonaut Azure brings the brand's robust, utilitarian principles to a 42mm hardened MoD stainless steel case built using Bremont's innovative two-piece construction. Two screwdown crowns at 2 and 4 o’clock help ensure a robust 300 meters of water resistance, reinforcing the watch’s credentials as a capable professional diving instrument.

The Dirty Dozen-inspired azure blue metal dial is brought to life with mint-colored Super-LumiNova for exceptional low-light legibility. An internal bi-directional bezel, also coated in mint-colored Super-LumiNova, helps divers track remaining time, with the critical first 15 minutes individually marked on the scale. The solid caseback is stamped with the symbols and Heraldic Badges of all three armed services, a distinction Bremont alone can claim as the only luxury watchmaker permitted to display the insignia of all three.
