Presented at Watches and Wonders 2026, the reference WSRD0019 is the medium-sized stainless steel variant of the relaunched Cartier Roadster.
Introduced in 2002 and produced for roughly a decade, the Cartier Roadster was conceived to honor the sleek, aerodynamic vintage sports cars of the 1950s. In 2026, it returns with an updated design that continues to draw on the visual language of mechanical bodywork.
The tonneau-shaped case of the reference WSRD0019 has been reimagined to feel more ergonomic and sleek, with four exposed rivets on the bezel reinterpreting the recessed lug screws of the first-generation Roadsters. Perhaps the most iconic elements of all, the ornate conical crown and headlight-shaped date magnifier are integrated more seamlessly into the new Roadster, sitting less obtrusively than on the original.
This medium model’s speedometer-inspired, opaline silvered dial features the emblematic circular striation pattern of the Roadster, precisely affixed to the brass plate with an expertly crafted stamping tool, along with Roman numeral markers and varnished lines, all set beneath blued-steel, sword-shaped hands. Powering the watch is the manufacture automatic caliber 1899 MC, named for the year Cartier's storied flagship boutique opened at 13 rue de la Paix in Paris.
The redesigned three-link bracelet combines polished center links with brushed outer links, creating what the brand describes as a look reminiscent of gleaming vintage headlights. Cartier's patented QuickSwitch technology allows an effortless swap to the included semi-matte navy blue alligator leather strap, offering two distinct personalities in a single watch.

This watch is in great condition, showing minor wear from normal use, including scratches and scuffs on the case and bracelet. There is a noticeable abrasion on the polished center of a half-link near the clasp. The movement is running properly with all functions operating as intended. This watch comes as a complete set with its original inner and outer boxes, instruction manual, care booklet, and warranty card from 2026. It remains covered by Cartier’s 8-year extended international warranty until April 28th, 2034. The bracelet is complete with all its original links and half-links. Four links were removed during sizing by the original owner and will be included separately. A navy blue alligator strap with steel deployant buckle also comes with the watch, as an alternative to the bracelet.
