Founded in the wake of the quartz crisis, Chronoswiss was established by watchmaker Gerd-Rüdiger Lang on an unshakable belief in championing and preserving traditional mechanical watchmaking. The Kairos reference CH2823 embodies this ethos as a classical time-and-date model distinguished by its finely executed silver guilloché dial, thermally blued Breguet hands, and classic Breguet numerals. Importantly, this watch still retains Chronoswiss’ signature design hallmarks including an oversized onion crown, straight lugs with exposed screws, and a fluted case with alternating brushed and polished surfaces. Powering the watch is a modified ETA 2892-A2, decorated with perlage alongside a beautifully finished golden rotor adorned with Côtes de Genève.

This watch is in good condition, showing expected signs of normal wear including scratches, dings, and dents on the case. There are a couple visible scratches on the surface of the crystal. Measured on a timegrapher in a neutral position, the watch is running at approximately −7 to −8 seconds per day, with a healthy amplitude of around 300 degrees and a beat error of 0.9ms. Consistent with this watch’s age, some traces of grime and patina are present on the movement, though they do not affect the watch’s operation. Additional photos are available on request.
