Founded in the wake of the quartz crisis, Chronoswiss was established by watchmaker Gerd-Rüdiger Lang on an unshakable belief in championing and preserving traditional mechanical watchmaking. Produced during the 1990s, the Pacific collection represented the brand’s first family of sports watches, created in contrast to its more classical offerings. The reference CH2214 embodies the neo-vintage era with its two-tone steel and gold design, pointer-style date display (in place of the conventional date window), and the brand’s signature fluted bezel. Powering the watch is a modified ETA 2892-2, fitted with a beautifully finished gold-toned rotor adorned with Côtes de Genève.

This watch is in fair to good overall condition, showing noticeable signs of regular wear including scratches, scuffs, and dents on the case. The dial shows age-related wear, including an abrasion on the date ring near the “15”, patina on the indices and hands, and some accumulated grime on the surface of the dial. The front and rear crystals display scratches and surface marks. The movement shows light grime, though this does not appear to affect its operation. It is currently running properly with all functions operating as intended, though its service history is unknown. Measured on a timegrapher in a neutral position, this watch recorded approximately –3 seconds per day with amplitude around 265 degrees and no beat error. Additional photos are available on request.
