As a young Swiss brand in the wake of the quartz crisis, Chronoswiss launched its most important and iconic signature watch in 1987 with the launch of the Régulateur, the world’s first serially produced wristwatch with a regulator-style dial. Inspired by historic regulator clocks once used by watchmakers to set precision, the modern reference CH-8723-SI displays hours, minutes, and seconds on separated subdials within an upsized 40mm stainless steel case. The silver dial is richly detailed, featuring finely executed guilloché across each register and elegant circular-grained rings that frame the thermally blued hands. Other defining hallmarks of the Régulateur are preserved in this model, including the oversized onion crown, straight lugs with exposed bracelet screws, and a fluted case with alternating brushed and polished surfaces.

This watch is in excellent condition, showing only light signs of careful wear with many areas remaining in near-mint condition. The movement is running properly with all functions operating as intended, though its service history is unknown. The strap shows clear wear with some edge deterioration, but is still in good overall condition and remains fully usable. Additional photos are available on request.
