The Grand Seiko reference SBGH349 is a classic mechanical timepiece housed in a 40mm case with a matching bracelet crafted from the brand's high-intensity titanium, a metal 30 percent lighter than steel and exceptionally resistant to rust, corrosion, and scratches.
The “Icefall” dial draws inspiration from Nanataki, a 30-meter waterfall in Hachimantai, Iwate Prefecture, fed by a stream that descends Mt. Iwate. The mountain's towering peak rises within view of the Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi, where this watch was born and where all the brand's mechanical watchmaking comes to life. During the coldest months, this waterfall freezes into massive icicles as the downward-flowing water gradually solidifies below freezing. Through its pattern and color, the dial conveys the transformation and dynamism of the frozen Nanataki alongside the mysterious, bluish-white hue found within the ice.
Powering the watch is the Grand Seiko’s caliber 9S85, a high-beat movement delivering an elevated oscillation rate of ten beats per second — the result of years of Grand Seiko's advances in component design, manufacture, and materials.

This watch is in very excellent condition, showing only minimal wear from careful use, with many surfaces remaining virtually mint. The dial shows barely perceptible irregularities in its texture, noticeable only on close inspection. The movement is running properly with all functions operating as intended. This watch comes as a complete set with its original box, leather storage case, cloth pouch, hang tag, GS9 Club card, inspection certificate, and warranty card dated to January 2026. Accordingly, the watch is covered by Grand Seiko’s five-year international warranty through January 2031.
Two full links and one half link were removed from the watch during sizing and are included with the set.
