  • IWC’s long-standing partnership with the Charles Darwin Foundation reflects the manufacture’s commitment to supporting scientific research, environmental education, and the preservation of the Galápagos Islands’ uniquely fragile but exceedingly beautiful ecosystem. Introduced as the first collaboration with the foundation, the Aquatimer Chronograph Edition Galapagos Islands reference IW376705 translates this mission into a purposeful tool watch. Its 44mm stainless steel case is coated in vulcanized rubber, evoking the deep black volcanic rock that defines the archipelago, and is paired with a matching integrated rubber strap. The solid, circular-brushed steel caseback is engraved with the iconic Galápagos tortoise, a symbol of the foundation’s mission and one of the most successful endangered-species rewilding efforts in history. Designed for real-world use by scientific researchers and watch enthusiasts alike, this Aquatimer offers a chronograph, day-date display, external rotating bezel, and 120 meters of water resistance.

  • (Please note that the watch’s rubberized surfaces may have attracted small particles of dust or lint visible in the pictures.) This watch is in good condition, showing expected signs of wear from normal use and age. The case body itself is in great shape, with no significant structural deformities and only shallow marks and rubbing. The bezel shows some cracking and peeling along the rubber rim. The rubber strap exhibits clear edge cracking, but remains fully intact and structurally usable. The movement is running properly with all functions operating as intended, though its service history is unknown. Additional photos and timegrapher results are available on request.
