The Omega Seamaster Edizione Venezia ref. 511.13.40.20.02.001 pays tribute to the origin story of the iconic Seamaster emblem, inspired in the 1950s by the Venetian gondolas and their sculpted Neptune seahorses. Released exclusively through Omega’s two Venice stores in 2017, this limited boutique edition celebrates the city’s artistic heritage in both form and detail. Its 39.5mm brushed and polished steel case with signature twisted lugs frames a domed opaline-silvery dial whose architecture echoes the vaulted ceilings of Venice, accented by 18K Sedna™ gold leaf-style hands and indices. The Venetian theme continues with the spherical crown modeled after the dome of St. Mark’s Basilica, adding a subtle touch of local symbolism as well as vintage character. On the caseback, a laser-engraved Seahorse medallion decorates the sapphire crystal, surrounded by “Seamaster” and “Edizione Venezia” lettering in addition to a transferred “ring” pattern inspired by the ornate detailing of Venice’s flag.

This watch is in good condition, showing minor signs of normal wear including scratches and scuffs. There is a small amount of faint grime on the dial, including between the 3 and 4 o’clock indices and around the date window, which can likely be cleaned during its next service. The movement is running properly with all functions operating as intended. Additional photos are available on request.
