  • The Speedmaster Professional reference 105.012-65 holds a distinctly important place in horological history as the exact model worn by Apollo XI astronauts during the first moon landing. It was the first Speedmaster to feature the now-iconic asymmetrical case and the "Professional" designation on the dial. Powering the watch is the legendary calibre 321, notable for its use of a column-wheel chronograph mechanism machined from a single piece for enhanced precision and durability. This watch is also distinguished by its highly sought-after dot-over-ninety (DON) bezel, a detail prized by collectors for its rarity and historical importance.

  • This watch is in fair vintage condition, with visible signs of wear including scratches and scuffs on the case, particularly the lugs. The crystal shows noticeable scratches consistent with age but remains free of cracks or any significant damage. The dial remains in excellent shape, featuring a pleasing patina on the luminous indices, while the lume on the hands has noticeably deteriorated. The bezel shows evident wear, including damage along the outer edge on the left side, but has aged into an attractive “ghost” fade that enhances its vintage character. On a timegrapher, it measured a daily accuracy of +10 seconds. The service history of this piece is unknown.

  • This watch is offered without its original box, papers, or bracelet.
