This Globetimer is part of Porsche Design's custom-built program, delivered alongside the original owner's 911 Carrera and left unworn.
The Porsche Design custom-built program offers Porsche drivers, fans, enthusiasts, and watch lovers the opportunity to create their personal “sports car for the wrist.” Launched in 2020 and expanded in 2024, the program now includes the Globetimer alongside the previously available Chronograph. This innovative world time watch enables the display of a second time zone and has been part of the Porsche Design collection as a standard model since 2019, featuring the radically simplified usability and optimum readability the brand is known for.
Drawing inspiration from the Porsche dual-clutch gearbox, the local time display can be adjusted in one-hour intervals using dedicated + and – pushers on the case, allowing the wearer to change time zones instantly without interrupting the minutes and seconds display. The date automatically advances or reverses in sync with the local hour adjustment, eliminating the need for cumbersome crown-based corrections. The date is indicated by an additional hand reading against a display around the dial, along with a day/night aperture at 9 o'clock.
This Globetimer is powered by the Porsche Design WERK 04.110 caliber, specially developed for the requirements of the Globetimer at Porsche's own watchmaking manufactory in Solothurn, Switzerland. Porsche Design refers to this as the second “in-house” movement in the brand's history, built as a modular movement using an automatic Sellita SW200 base caliber paired with an exclusive world timer module developed by Swiss complication specialist Dubois-Dépraz.
What makes this timepiece especially distinctive is that it belongs to Porsche's custom-built Timepieces program, intended to translate the principle of the Porsche car configurator into the luxury watch segment to enable the design of a fully personalized watch. This particular watch was customized with a natural titanium case, bezel, and clasp in a glass bead-blasted finish; black rhodium-plated “essence” hands; a gray-colored ring bordering the matte black dial; and the iconic Porsche crest laser-engraved on the caseback.
The watch is fitted with a dark night blue calfskin leather strap crafted from genuine Porsche vehicle interior leather. Grey contrasting stitching on the strap is likewise made from authentic Porsche vehicle thread. Thanks to the quick-change mechanism, the strap can be swapped in seconds without the use of any tools.

This watch is in near-mint condition, showing virtually no signs of wear beyond a few light surface marks from handling or storage. The previous owner stated this watch came with their new Porsche 911 Carrera in late 2025 and was never worn. There are a few tiny white particles visible beneath the crystal. Some minuscule lint is present within the textured black caseback engravings and can be seen in some photos. This is not scratches or wear.
The movement is running properly with all functions operating as intended. On a timegrapher in the dial-up position, the watch recorded 0 seconds per day, with amplitude above 300° and a beat error of 0.1ms. When manually winding the crown, the rotor may shift slightly and produce a subtle sound, which is normal for the SW200 movement.
