Seiko Astron "Starry Sky" limited edition ref. SBXD027, complete set

With its pedigree as the world’s first quartz watch, the Seiko Astron “Starry Sky” series celebrates the brand’s legacy of innovation by capturing the celestial beauty of the night sky in a set of four limited edition releases. The ref. SBXD027 is the pure 3-hand expression of the collection, favoring a simpler, more streamlined design that lets the architecture of the watch take center stage. Its 41.2mm angular titanium case feels futuristic and weightless on the wrist, echoing the look of advanced instrumentation you might find aboard a spacecraft. The sharp case lines flow seamlessly into an integrated titanium bracelet that tapers elegantly toward the clasp, creating a unified and visually balanced profile. The transparent light blue “starry” dial shifts in tone and depth as it catches the light at different angles, like gazing into shimmering waters or a sparkling galaxy. Powered by the newly developed Caliber 3X62 GPS Solar movement, the watch automatically connects to satellites when exposed to sunlight (maintaining a theoretical accuracy of one second every 100,000 years) while the single subdial at 8 o’clock intuitively displays GPS reception, charging status, leap-second data, and flight mode.

This watch is in great condition, showing minor signs of modest wear including light scratches and dings. There is more noticeable wear on the bracelet than on the case itself. There are also a couple small dust particles on the dial. The previous owner did not remove the factory protective sticker from the caseback. The movement is running properly with all functions operating as intended. Additional photos are available on request.
