The TAG Heuer Monza Calibre 36 ref. CR5112 was released in 2011 as a limited series of 1,911 pieces, honoring the 1911 debut of Heuer’s pioneering “Time of Trip” dashboard chronograph. Inspired by the 1933 Heuer Monza wrist chronograph, this modern re-edition offers a compact 38mm stainless-steel case and refined vintage-style design that made waves at Baselworld 2011. Inside, it houses the Calibre 36 automatic movement, derived from the Zenith El Primero 400, delivering high-beat precision and robust chronograph performance. With its classic bi-compax layout, sapphire crystal, and balanced proportions, the CR5112 combines vintage motorsport heritage with contemporary craftsmanship.

This watch is in good overall condition, showing light to moderate wear consistent with use. The case has scratches, dings, and scuffs, particularly visible on the lugs, bezel, and 9 o’clock case side, while the caseback remains in strong shape aside from a few shallow marks in one area. A professional polish could restore the watch to an excellent cosmetic state. The original strap shows clear wear and cracking, but will remain serviceable for the near future. The movement runs smoothly with all functions operating as intended. Additional photos are available on request.
