  • The Tudor Prince Date “Chronotime” ref. 79260 marks a significant chapter in the brand’s history, representing the brand’s last vintage-style chronograph models before Tudor transitioned into its modern era. Encased in a compact Big Block-style case, the design pays homage to earlier Tudor chronographs while taking stylistic cues from the now iconic Daytona. Within the 79200 series, the Ref. 79260 emerges as a standout for collectors. Its black aluminum tachymeter bezel sets it apart from other models in the line, which featured stainless steel tachymeter bezels or rotating aluminum 12-hour bezels.

  • This watch is in good overall condition, with most signs of wear limited to light scratches and other minor wear on the case and bracelet. That said, the lugs in particular show heavier signs of scuffing. A small dent is visible on the bezel between the 70 and 75 markings. The safety lock on the clasp is slightly loose owing to wear from use. The dial and hands are in outstanding condition, showing no noticeable signs of wear. Both the chronograph and date functions operate perfectly without any issues.
