Tudor Royal ref. 28603, box & manual

$3,000.00

“The epitome of versatile sport-chic,” rendered in stainless steel and 18k gold with the familiar day-date complication.

Though Tudor first used the Royal name on vintage models in the 1950s, its 2020 reimagining introduced the brand’s modern take on the integrated bracelet sports watch. Its most striking configuration is Tudor’s answer to the Rolex Day-Date, delivering the build and function of the Crown’s iconic design at a fraction of the price.

The Tudor Royal 41 reference M28603-0005 pairs stainless steel with 18k yellow gold in a two-tone case and integrated bracelet. Each row of the bracelet sets three wide satin-brushed links between two slimmer polished elements, flowing seamlessly from the gently curved case. Its sunburst black dial features gold-bordered diamond hour markers and applied Roman numerals, with the day of the week at 12 o’clock and the date at 3 o’clock in the layout made famous by the Day-Date. The notched bezel alternates cut grooves with polished flats, recalling the engine-turned bezels of Rolex and Tudor history while remaining clearly its own. Finally, the gold screwdown crown bears the Tudor shield and helps secure robust water resistance to 100 meters.
